Do I need to book a consultation to get extensions?

Yes - all new extension clients need to book a consultation (even if you have extensions from a different salon) in order to determine your specific hair needs. Extensions are highly customizable and variable, which means you and your stylist need to have an in-depth conversation prior to your installation. This appointment also gives us time to order the hair itself.

How much do extensions cost?

Since finished extension looks vary in length, style, method, and quantity, there is no easy way to quote a price without a consultation. During your consultation, you will be provided a written quote with an initial installation cost and further maintenance cost. Keep in mind that extensions are a luxury salon service, and are priced as such!

What's the difference between beaded row and k-tip extensions?

Beaded row extensions are installed by applying 'beads' to the natural hair and attaching either a machine or hand-tied volume hair weft by sewing through these beads. They are also known as hand-tied extensions.

K-tip extensions are strands of hair fused to the natural hair using a keratin-based tip. They are also known as fusion extensions.

Many completed extension looks use both of these methods! There are many other differences between beaded row + k-tip extensions that your stylist will discuss with you during your consultation.

Do extensions damage the hair?

When installed by a professional and properly maintained, extensions can actually protect and maintain the integrity of your natural hair. You are more likely to damage your hair if you neglect daily brushing, skip protective sleep measures, etc.
